On its way to Western Australia this month to begin service in our ports is the DCT90-45E7 — an empty container handler from Kalmar’s revised family of DCT 80–90 machines capable of stacking from 5 to 8-high 8’6” containers.
The unit is the first of the new specification DCT series to arrive in Australia with upgrades to stability and cabin access.
Capable of stacking empty 40-foot containers up to eight containers high with 9000kg capacity at maximum lift height, the DCT is designed for high productivity, long life and hassle free operation.
Attention to detail, quality and reliability have been incorporated into the new machine, allowing you to get on with the job at hand with a focus on minimal unplanned downtime to your operations.
Operator safety and comfort is at the core the design, with the Spirit Delta cab centred on ergonomics, noise levels, visibility and filtered climate-controlled airconditioning.
The Kalmar DCT range can cater to a variety of applications via a number of configurations with mast heights to suit stacking heights of up to eight containers, or 15-21 metres.
