The Kobelco SK12SR minig excavator is engineered precisely to work in both residential and industrial settings, a machine capable of precise maneuvering and swinging within tight spaces is essential for seamless operation near fixed structures and walls. With a 180° working radius of 1.7 m, the SK12SR requires minimal space for digging, swinging, and loading continuously. Its boom swing angles of 45 degrees to the left and 85 degrees to the right optimize performance when excavating pipeline ditches and side walls.

Pilot-operated joystick controls afford precise and comfortable machine control akin to larger excavators, facilitating relaxed, all-day operation. Crawler extension and retraction are effortlessly managed by a simple lever, allowing the SK12SR to navigate through spaces as narrow as 830 mm, making it versatile for various urban and industrial job sites. The hydraulic retractable side frames are both durable and self-cleaning.

Designed to endure impact during swing operation, the cast steel upper frame with integrated counterweight enhances durability. The backfill dozer blade features a wear-resistant cutting edge for prolonged service life while further enhancing lateral stability.
