EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Field Service Technician

LiftRite Hire & Sales is a materials handling company providing solutions to customers across the mining, construction, agriculture and warehousing sectors. Locally operated and locally run, LiftRite has recently become part of the Manitou Group, world renown for their quality products. We supply and provide after sales support for Manitou, Gehl, Kalmar and Kobelco equipment to a large customer base and our own hire fleet, including forklifts from 1.5 to 42 ton, excavators, skid steers and Tele-handlers.

Job Details:

Reporting to Field Service Supervisor

Based in Canning Vale

In-house and OEM training provided

The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out mechanical repairs, servicing, and scheduled and preventative maintenance to customer equipment and our hire fleet throughout the Perth metropolitan area.

The role would require the successful applicant to have a willingness to work flexible hours and after-hours work.

Job Duties:

Carryout repairs, maintenance and servicing, on a range of materials handling equipment

Completion of in field diagnosis and repairs

Completing warranty repair work and reports

Identifying and recommending preventative maintenance on equipment

Ordering of parts, accounting for parts on service / repair reports, and returning unused parts to stock

Maintaining safe work practices and a safe work environment

Essential Criteria:

Australian recognised Plant Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic Trade Qualification with a minimum of 3 – 5 years post trade experience

Experience in repair, servicing and maintenance in the materials handling / construction industries

Excellent diagnostic and fault finding skills

Good working knowledge of hydraulics and an intermediate understanding of auto electrics

Current C Class Licence

Ability to work successfully as part of a team, autonomously and unsupervised

Excellent customer service skills

Desired Criteria:

Forklift, Elevated Work Platform, Gas Fitting – LPG systems, Air Conditioning, Working at Heights licences / tickets
